LEGAL · PRIVACY · CLAIMS
What we hold, what we claim, and what you can hold us to.
No operating entity exists yet, so this states intended practice rather than binding terms. It will be reissued in binding form by whichever entity is constituted — and nothing here is weakened in the meantime.
L1PRIVACY NOTICE
Why we hold anything at all
This project's first gate is demand. To answer it we record what organizations tell us they would use and pay for. That record is the evidence base — it is the reason the forms exist.
Lawful basis and consent
Everything is provided voluntarily by you. We treat submissions as confidential business information and rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who sees it
The project team, and independent reviewers assessing gate evidence under confidentiality. Not municipalities, funders, or other companies — unless you agree in writing.
Your rights
Ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Deletion removes your submission from the demand record; anonymous aggregate counts already reported publicly cannot be un-reported.
Applicable law: Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, as they apply to the organization that ultimately operates this project. Because no operating entity exists yet, this notice states intended practice and will be reissued in binding form by whichever entity is constituted.
L2WHAT WE COLLECT
The illustrative footage, diagrams, and fonts on this site are generated concept material served first-party from this site's own domain through Cloudflare, whose network logs ordinary request data such as IP addresses in order to serve any file. No Google Fonts, no third-party content network, and nothing here is used by this project to identify or track visitors.
L3TERMS OF USE
This is discussion material
Everything here is provided for discussion. It is not an offer, an invitation to invest, a prospectus, a solicitation, or an agreement to lease, sell, contract, or employ.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is legal, security, procurement, engineering, environmental, planning, investment, or tax advice. Any operating model would require qualified advice on its specific activities and jurisdictions.
Forward-looking statements
Descriptions of a campus, tenants, services, or benefits describe an intention that is subject to gates and may not proceed. No outcome, timeline, figure, or approval is promised.
Ownership and third parties
Content on this site belongs to the project. No organization named or unnamed here has endorsed it, and no third-party mark is used to imply any relationship.
L4CLAIMS POLICY
The rules this site is written against. If you find a line that breaks one of them, that is a defect and we want to hear about it — hello@albertadefencecampus.ca.
R1No site is selected, assessed, or implied. No municipality has agreed to host, fund, or endorse this.
R2No entity, funding, contract, tenant agreement, approval, permit, or certification exists or is claimed.
R3No company, institution, or individual is named without a written agreement to be named.
R4The active scope is non-weaponized. No weapons, munitions, energetics, or ordnance work is depicted, described, or planned.
R5No job counts, dollar figures, tax revenue, capacity, or timelines are published before they are measured.
R6Figures cited are public national or provincial data used as context. They are not apportioned to any region.
R7All imagery is generated concept visualization. It depicts no real place, building, product, or person.
R8A gate that concludes stop is reported the same way as one that concludes proceed.
L5ACCESSIBILITY
This site aims at WCAG 2.1 AA. Every diagram carries a text description, the footage in the header is decorative, silent, and carries no information found nowhere else, and all motion is suppressed for visitors whose system requests reduced motion. Nothing on the page depends on hover or on colour alone to be understood.
If something here is hard to use, or you need this material in another format, write to hello@albertadefencecampus.ca and we will send it. Accessibility defects are treated as defects, not requests.
